vini cation:
50% matured in 500 l acacia barrels, then one year maturation
in barrel with malolactic fermentation.
50% classic vinification in stainless
steel to emphasize our regional freshness and fruit. 6 months on the yeast.
terroir:
LEBEN grows in two of the best
vineyards in Poysdorf: Ried Tenn and Saurüsseln.
Two neighboring plateaus
facing south, good ventilation and sun exposure for wonderful ripeness and
absolutely healthy grapes.
Airy loess on heavy clay gives the grapes fruit and
density. Selected harvest from old vines.
